VFX for Commercial

Hey LA VFX pros! I'm a stills photographer working on an upcoming commercial project and we're looking for a sharp Senior VFX Artist to join our team. This is a punchy, high-energy spot for a well-known lifestyle brand, showcasing their new product line with some really cool, artistic visual effects. Think dynamic compositing, clean roto, and some subtle but impactful CG elements to really elevate the visuals. We're aiming for a polished, modern aesthetic. Your responsibilities will include executing complex visual effects shots, collaborating directly with the director and post-production supervisor on creative problem-solving, and ensuring all VFX elements integrate into the live-action footage. You'll also be instrumental in guiding junior artists if needed and maintaining a consistent visual style throughout the project. We need someone with extensive experience in commercial VFX, a strong understanding of color and light integration, and a killer reel that demonstrates your compositing, tracking, and perhaps some light 3D skills. Proficiency in Nuke, After Effects, and ideally some knowledge of Maya or Cinema 4D is a must. We're looking at a 4-6 week commitment, with primary work starting in late May, so please only apply if you have significant availability around then. This is an independent production, so compensation will be deferred. We're providing a dedicated workstation and all necessary software.
