VFX for Pilot

Looking for a talented VFX artist for an upcoming sci-fi pilot, offering $500-800/day for 1-2 weeks of work in late August or early September 2026. We need someone who can help bring a unique, gritty sci-fi vision to life, working on everything from subtle environmental enhancements to more complex digital effects for alien tech and futuristic cityscapes. The tone is dark and atmospheric, think Bladerunner meets District 9. Key responsibilities include compositing, matte painting, 3D modeling where necessary, and overall visual effects supervision for a handful of pivotal scenes. You'll be working closely with the director to achieve the desired aesthetic. All levels of experience are welcome, just show us what you've got. A strong demo reel showcasing your range and creativity is essential. We're looking for someone based in Vancouver, BC, or willing to work locally. We'll provide all necessary footage and assets, and you'll be expected to use your own workstation and software. Exact dates are flexible within that late August or early September 2026 window, likely 8-10 hour days. This is an independent production with a passionate crew, and we're excited to find someone who can elevate our visual storytelling.
