Impact of Affordable AF Anamorphics on Fast-Paced Sets?

Hey DPs and ACs,

I'm Antoine, a camera op usually working on commercials and indie narratives. I've been seeing more affordable autofocus anamorphic options popping up, like the SIRUI Jupiter series or even some of the Great Joy lenses, which is really exciting. I've mostly shot spherical or traditional anamorphics that require careful manual focus pulls, often on an AMIRA or V-RAPTOR XL.

I'm curious for those of you who've actually used these new autofocus anamorphic lenses on faster-paced sets: how has it changed your approach to shot design? Are you pushing for more dynamic camera moves or different blocking because you're less worried about hitting marks with manual focus? And what about crew requirements? Are you finding you can get by with one less AC, or does it just free them up for other tasks? Any real-world experiences would be great to hear.
