AVOD/FAST & Rights Retention: What's Your Strategy Shift?

Hey folks, working gaffer Lucas here. I’m currently putting together a finance plan for a new indie feature we’re shooting later this year. We're looking at using a V-RAPTOR XL for our A-cam and a couple of SkyPanel S60-Cs, along with some PavoTube II 30Xs for practicals. My big question for the community is this: How has the rise of AVOD and FAST channels altered your strategy for rights retention and long-term revenue projections in a finance plan?

Before, it felt a bit more straightforward with traditional VOD and broadcast deals. Now, with so many platforms seeking content, I’m trying to wrap my head around the best way to leverage these new avenues without selling ourselves short in the long run. Are you seeing new clauses in distribution agreements? How are you valuing these different revenue streams in your projections? Any insights on how to approach this for a narrative feature would be hugely appreciated.
