AI Audio Tools and Loudness Compliance: Help or Hindrance?

Hey everyone, Catalina Morales here. As a location scout, I'm constantly dealing with varied sound environments, and I often end up handling initial audio passes myself before handing off to the post team. We recently shot a doc series using an AMIRA and a few FX3s, with a lot of interviews using 6060 lavaliers and a MKH 416 on a boom, all fed into an 833. The audio fidelity was great, but I'm finding myself wondering about the new wave of AI-powered audio tools and advanced plugins coming out.

Specifically, how are they impacting your approach to 'Loudness and Compliance'? Are these new technologies making it easier to meet specifications and avoid rejections, or are they introducing new complexities for avoiding 'too quiet, too loud' issues? I've dabbled with some basic normalization plugins, but I'm curious if these newer, more intelligent tools are truly streamlining the process for you all, or if they're creating a new set of problems to navigate. What's your experience been?
