LED Volume Shooting: What traditional principles get overlooked?

Omar Hassan here, Steadicam operator. I'm prepping for a project soon that'll involve shooting on an LED volume for some backgrounds, and while I'm excited about the possibilities, I've heard some cautionary tales.

I'm usually working with more traditional sets or locations, often with my ARRI AMIRA or a VENICE 2, and relying heavily on practicals or a few SkyPanel S60-Cs to shape the light. I've been experimenting a bit with virtual production tools in my downtime, even playing around with some smaller LED panels at home, trying to wrap my head around how the volume's light interacts.

My main concern is that with so much 'built-in' light from the volume, new operators might forget some fundamental filmmaking principles. So, from those of you with experience, what's the most common pitfall you've seen beginners fall into when shooting on an LED volume, specifically regarding neglecting traditional rules of lighting and composition?
