Entry-Level Screenwriter (Corp. Video) Remote Ok

Corporate Video Screenwriting 🌍 Remote entry Budget: Backend percentage

Hey filmmakers, Omar here. I'm a Steadicam op usually, but I'm helping a small production company find an entry-level screenwriter for an upcoming corporate video project. We're looking to create a fresh, engaging, and slightly humorous explainer video, something that cuts through the usual dry corporate stuff. Think clever narrative, not just bullet points. The goal is to make technical information genuinely interesting to a broad audience, so creative problem-solving is key. Your main responsibilities will involve developing a concise script (around 3-5 minutes finished video length) from provided bullet points and refining it based on feedback. We're open to remote work, but if you're in Atlanta, that's a plus for potential in-person meetings. This is a deferred compensation gig, offering a backend percentage. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to build their reel with a project that will definitely get seen. No specific gear required here, just strong writing skills and a knack for storytelling. Ideally, you’ll have a portfolio, even if it’s just spec scripts or short creative pieces, that demonstrates your ability to write clear, compelling dialogue and build a narrative arc. We're aiming for a few weeks of concentrated writing sometime in the next month or two, flexible hours. We'll provide all the background information and creative direction. Let's make something cool!
