Location Scout/Manager, Indie Feature (Miami)

Hey filmmakers of Miami! We're gearing up for an independent feature film, a quirky comedy with a heartfelt core. Think 'Little Miss Sunshine' meets the Florida Keys. We're looking for a dedicated Location Scout and/or Manager to help us find and secure the perfect spots that will bring our story to life. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to an exciting project. Your primary role will involve researching, scouting, and photographing potential filming locations across Miami and its surrounding areas, fitting our script's aesthetic. You'll also assist with securing permits, managing access, and communicating with property owners. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are a must. Familiarity with local permitting processes is a huge plus, but we're open to all experience levels; your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most. A driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for getting around. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late summer/early fall. This is a volunteer position, but we believe in supporting our crew. We'll provide meals on set and a copy of the finished film for your reel.
