Senior VFX Artist, Feature Documentary

Hey fellow filmmakers, I'm a graphic designer working on an exciting independent documentary and we're looking for a talented Senior VFX Artist to join our team in Albuquerque. This project dives deep into a compelling investigative story, uncovering hidden truths with a gritty, realistic tone. We've got some fascinating archival footage and recreations that will need sophisticated visual effects to really bring the narrative to life, helping us blend historical elements with contemporary scenes. Your main responsibilities will involve designing and implementing a range of visual effects, from subtle enhancements and cleanup to more complex compositing work and potentially some motion graphics integration. We’ll need someone skilled in various VFX software and capable of working independently to achieve a polished, high-quality look. You should have a proven track record on documentary or narrative projects, and a strong reel showcasing your diverse skillset and creative problem-solving. We're aiming for principal VFX work to happen throughout Fall 2024 (exact dates flexible) with consistent hours during that period. We'll provide all necessary software licenses and a dedicated workstation. Compensation is competitive, $1000-1500 per day. Please send over your resume and reel if you're interested!
