Production for Commercial

I'm directing an upcoming commercial project in Cape Town and seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to join our small, independent production. This will be a vibrant, fast-paced shoot for an exciting local brand, focusing on capturing the energy of daily life. We need someone who is eager to learn, proactive, and ready to be an indispensable part of our team. Your key responsibilities will include assisting with set-up and breakdown, managing equipment, running errands, coordinating talent and crew, and generally ensuring the smooth flow of production. You'll be the backbone of our on-set operations. No specific gear is required for this role, just a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in where needed. While prior experience is a plus, we welcome enthusiastic individuals at any stage of their career in film. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are what we're really looking for. Shoot dates are approximate, slated for late July, early August. We anticipate 2-3 full shoot days. This is a volunteer position, offering valuable on-set experience and credit for your reel, plus all meals will be provided during production. It's a great opportunity to gain practical experience and network within the industry.
