1st AC (First Assistant Camera) Vancouver Music Video

Hey everyone, I'm a camera operator on an upcoming music video shoot in Vancouver and we're looking to bring on a talented 1st AC to join our team. It's for an indie artist, a really cool, high-energy pop track with some stylized visuals we're aiming for. Think vibrant colors and dynamic camera movement, it's gonna be a fun one to shoot. Your primary role will be pulling focus, maintaining the camera, and managing lenses and accessories. We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of camera systems, particularly cinema cameras, and a keen eye for detail. Experience on music video sets is a plus, but not essential, as long as you're organized and a good communicator. We value a collaborative spirit, so if you're eager to contribute and problem-solve on set, that's what we're looking for. We're shooting over 2 days, likely early to mid-August, with potential for some prep work beforehand. Hours will be typical 10-12 hour days. We'll be providing the camera package (Arri Alexa Mini LF) and basic camera support, but if you have a follow focus unit or other useful kit, let us know. A reel or examples of your focus pulling work would be great to see. Even if you're relatively new but feel you've got the chops, please reach out. We're open to all experience levels for this one.
