Assistant Editor, Entry-Level Doc

Hey everyone, I'm working on a compelling independent documentary exploring the unique lives of urban beekeepers here in Stockholm. It's a visually rich project with a fantastic story, blending intimate interviews with stunning macro footage. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Assistant Editor to join our small, passionate crew. Your main responsibilities would involve organizing and logging footage, creating assemblies for different acts, syncing audio, and preparing projects for our lead editor. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in documentary post-production and learn the workflow on a real-world project. While no specific gear is required for this home-based role, familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Showing us some examples of your editing work, even student projects, would be super helpful. We're aiming to start post-production in late August, and while hours can be flexible, we'd ideally like someone available for 15-20 hours a week. This is a partnership opportunity, meaning compensation will be a revenue share once the film is distributed. We're a small team, but very supportive, and you'll get a co-producer credit.
