1st AC, Comedy Web Series, Montreal, QC

Shooting in Montreal, QC, for an independent comedy web series. We're looking for an experienced 1st AC to join our small, but passionate crew for approximately 8-10 shoot days spread across mid September 2026 to early October 2026. This project is a quirky, character-driven comedy with a lighthearted tone, focusing on awkward social situations, offering plenty of fun and creative opportunities for camera work. As our 1st AC, your core responsibilities will include meticulous camera maintenance, precise focus pulling, lens changes, and efficient battery management. We'll be working with a single camera setup, likely an Arri Alexa Mini or similar, and you'll be crucial in maintaining our workflow. Applicants must have their own essential AC kit (tape, tools, marks, etc.) and a proven track record as a 1st AC on narrative productions. A strong understanding of various camera systems, excellent communication skills, and a good sense of humor are all vital.
