1st AC (Focus Puller), Feature Film (NY)

Hey folks, Kevin here, and I'm helping our Cinematographer find a talented 1st Assistant Camera for an upcoming independent feature film shooting here in NYC. It's a gripping psychological thriller with some really atmospheric visuals, focusing on a character dealing with grief and paranoia. We're looking for someone who can absolutely nail focus in challenging situations and has a keen eye for detail. You'll be vital in maintaining camera equipment, managing lenses, and ensuring everything is prepped and ready to go for our DP. We need someone with significant experience on narrative features, a strong understanding of various camera systems (we'll be using an Arri Mini LF), and a reel or portfolio showcasing your work. We're planning to shoot for approximately 3-4 weeks, likely in late spring/early summer. This is a volunteer position, but we're providing meals on set and a copy of the finished film for your reel.
