A high-energy, visually driven music video exploring themes of urban struggle and resilience needs a skilled 1st AC to keep our visuals crisp. We're looking for a senior-level First Assistant Camera to join our independent production, working alongside a talented Gaffer and Cinematographer on an upcoming project for an established independent artist. This isn't just about pulling focus, it's about being a critical eye and a steady hand in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include precise focus pulling, camera maintenance, lens changes, managing camera accessories, and supporting the DP with technical expertise. You'll need to be proficient with various camera systems (e.g., Arri, RED) and have your own essential kit, including a follow focus, monitor, and basic camera tools. A strong reel showcasing your experience, particularly in music videos or narrative shorts, is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 days, likely around October 16, 2026, with some prep days beforehand. Expect long but rewarding days, typically 10-12 hours. Compensation is deferred, offered as points in the production plus an agreed-upon deferred payment structure. Meals and craft services will be provided on set.
