Seeking a Senior Director of Photography for a high-energy music video shoot in Cape Town, approximately 1-2 days on set in September 2026, with an additional 1-2 days for prep and wrap. This is a paid position offering $2000-$3000 per week, depending on experience and gear contribution. Our upcoming project is a vibrant, Afro-fusion music video for an independent artist, featuring dynamic choreography and rich, atmospheric lighting. We're aiming for a polished, cinematic look with a strong narrative undertone. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the director to establish the visual aesthetic, leading the camera department, and ensuring all shots align with the artistic vision. You'll be expected to bring your own camera package (RED, Arri, or similar cinema camera preferred), a strong lighting kit suitable for various setups, and relevant support equipment. Candidates should have extensive experience shooting music videos or similar high-intensity commercial content, a keen eye for composition and movement, and a track record of delivering stunning visuals under tight timelines.
