1st AC, Music Video (Albuquerque)

Hey Albuquerque crew, I'm Sofia, a local location scout, and we're looking for a skilled 1st AC for an indie music video shoot here in town. This is for an emerging electronic artist, think moody, atmospheric visuals with some dynamic, stylized performance shots. We're aiming for a slick, professional look to really elevate the track. Your main responsibilities will include pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting the DP on set. We need someone who's super detail-oriented and can anticipate needs. Prior experience as a 1st AC on music videos or other short-form narrative content is definitely a plus. Please have access to your own basic AC kit (follow focus, tape, cleaning supplies, etc.) and be familiar with standard cinema camera systems. A reel showcasing your focus pulling would be great, even if it's from student or smaller projects. Shoot dates are flexible but looking at late July or early August, likely 2-3 full days. We're a small, passionate crew and this is an independent production. Compensation is deferred, with a backend percentage offered. Good meals and craft services will be provided on set.
