1st AC, Music Video for Atlanta Artist (Mid-Level)

Hey folks, Wayne Garrett here. I'm helping out an independent production looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera for an upcoming music video shoot in Atlanta. This is for an emerging R&B artist, so we're looking for visuals that are slick and cinematic, with a moody, artistic vibe. Think expressive lighting and dynamic camera work. We're aiming for a high-quality look on a tight schedule. Your main responsibilities will include managing focus pulling, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting the DP with setup and breakdown. We need someone who's comfortable with professional cinema cameras and lenses. You should have your own basic focus pulling kit and essential tools. We're looking for someone with solid music video or short film experience, someone who can anticipate needs and keep things running smoothly on set. Please include a link to your reel highlighting your 1st AC work. We anticipate shooting 2-3 days in late May, likely 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $150-200/day, depending on experience.
