Experienced Gaffer for Compelling Commercial Spot

Hey all, I'm a Cinematographer seeking a talented, experienced Gaffer to join my crew for an upcoming commercial project in Los Angeles. This spot is for a tech startup, showcasing their innovative product with a sleek, modern visual style. We're aiming for a clean, sophisticated look that emphasizes product design and user experience. As our Gaffer, you'll be responsible for all lighting setups, working closely with me to achieve our desired aesthetic. This includes instrument placement, power distribution, rigging, and managing the lighting crew. Your expertise in shaping light to create mood and highlight product features will be crucial. We're looking for someone who can bring creative solutions and a strong technical understanding to the set. We need someone with several years of gaffing experience on commercial shoots, evidenced by a strong reel. While we'll have a lighting package, we expect you to have your own basic tools. Shoot dates are approximately late June, early July, and we anticipate 2-3 long shoot days, plus prep. We'll provide craft services and meals.
