AC, Indie Pilot (New Orleans)

Hey filmmakers, DeShawn here. We're looking for an experienced 1st AC for an upcoming dramatic pilot shoot in New Orleans. This is a gritty, character-driven story with some intense emotional beats, think early A24. We've got a fantastic script and a passionate crew. Your main responsibilities will be pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting our DP with lens changes and setup. We're shooting on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro. You'll need to be proficient with the camera system, have your own follow focus, and ideally a basic set of tools. An up-to-date reel or examples of your focus pulling work are a must. This is an entry-level position but we need someone who can hit the ground running. Shoot dates are tentatively set for August 12-16 (five days total), with typical 10-12 hour days. We're providing lunch, snacks, and plenty of coffee. Compensation is $300-500/day, depending on experience. Send over your resume and reel if you're interested!
