Cinematography for Pilot

Hey filmmakers of LA, I'm working with an independent production on an upcoming dramatic pilot and we're looking for a skilled 1st Assistant Camera. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama with some intense emotional moments, exploring themes of resilience and redemption. We're aiming for a raw, naturalistic so your sharp focus and meticulous camera handling will be crucial in bringing our vision to life. Your primary responsibilities will include pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, preparing camera reports, and assisting the DP in all aspects of camera operation. We're looking for someone with some prior experience on set, even if it's on student films or shorts. You should be familiar with industry-standard camera systems (think Arri, RED, Sony) and comfortable with various lens changes and setups. Please have your own basic focus pulling tools and a clean driving record, as you might need to handle equipment transportation. Please submit your reel or a list of projects you've worked on. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late July for about 3-4 days of shooting. We'll be working 10-12 hour days. Compensation will be discussed based on your experience.
