1st AD, Sci-Fi Pilot (Cape Town)

Looking for a proactive and experienced 1st Assistant Director for an exciting sci-fi pilot shooting in Cape Town. This independent production, a proof-of-concept for a larger series, blends intricate world-building with intense character drama, exploring themes of artificial intelligence and societal collapse. It's a visually driven piece, both ambitious and intimate. You'll be instrumental in keeping our set running smoothly, managing the schedule, and coordinating cast and crew effectively. We need someone who can anticipate challenges and problem-solve on the fly, with excellent communication skills. Experience with independent film sets is a big plus. While specific gear isn't required for this role, your organizational tools and scheduling software expertise will be essential.
