1st AC, Music Video

Seeking a skilled 1st Assistant Camera for an independent music video project in New York City. This is for a vibrant, high-energy pop track with a strong visual narrative, focusing on intricate choreography and stylistic lighting. We need someone who can keep our camera department running smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities include precise focus pulling, camera maintenance, lens changes, and ensuring all camera equipment is prepped and organized. You'll be working closely with our DP to execute their vision. Applicants should have prior 1st AC experience, ideally on music videos or other fast-paced productions. Please have your own follow focus system, monitor, and basic camera toolkit. A strong understanding of various camera systems (we're shooting on an Arri Alexa Mini) is a must. Please share your reel or a list of projects you've worked on in this role. Shoot dates are approximately late July to early August, over 2-3 days, likely 10-12 hour days. Deferred pay is offered, with a commitment to fair compensation once the project secures distribution and revenue. We'll provide meals and transport to and from set within NYC. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a dynamic project with a dedicated crew.
