Video Editor, Music Video (paid $150-300/day)

Music Video Post-Production Brooklyn, NY senior Budget: $150-300/day

Hey everyone, I'm a Motion Graphics Artist working on an upcoming music video project in Brooklyn, and we're looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our independent production team. This is a high-energy, visually driven track, a mix of alt-pop and electronic, and we're aiming for a dynamic, slightly surreal aesthetic that really pops. We've got some great footage to work with, a mix of performance and narrative elements, and we need someone who can bring it all together cohesively. Your main responsibilities will include ingesting and organizing footage, assembling rough cuts, incorporating feedback, and delivering final polished edits for various platforms. We're looking for someone who's proficient in industry-standard editing software, has a strong sense of rhythm and pacing, and can contribute creatively to the visual storytelling. You should have a proven track record editing music videos or similar fast-paced content, and a strong reel demonstrating your skills is essential. We're envisioning shoot dates sometime in late July, early August, with editing work to follow immediately after. This would be a few days of work, approximately 8-10 hours per day, depending on the scope of the edits. We'll provide all the raw footage, music tracks, and clear creative direction. We're offering a rate of $150-300 per day, depending on experience. If you're a senior editor looking for a fun and creatively fulfilling project, please send over your resume and reel. We're excited to see your work!
