Post-Production for Web Series

Hey everyone, I'm Ji-Hoon, a VFX Supervisor ramping up an exciting new sci-fi web series and looking for an Assistant Editor to join our remote team. This independent production, set in a dystopian near-future Seoul, blends gritty action with thoughtful character drama. We're aiming for a sleek, cinematic feel with a strong narrative drive, and the post-production phase is where much of that magic happens. Your main responsibilities will include organizing dailies, syncing audio, creating rough cuts, and preparing sequences for visual effects and sound design. You’ll be working closely with our lead editor and me, ensuring a smooth workflow from start to finish. We're looking for someone with some experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling. Basic understanding of VFX pipelines (even just knowing what an EDL is) is a bonus. Please share a link to your reel or any relevant editing samples you have. This is an entry-level, deferred compensation (points + deferred pay) opportunity, perfect for someone looking to build their portfolio and gain valuable experience on a narrative project. While we're based in Seoul, this position is fully remote. We're looking to start around late summer/early fall, with flexible hours that will be discussed individually to accommodate your schedule.
