Music Video Editor for Nashville Indie Artist

Hey Nashville film family! I'm Autumn Harrell, a Music Supervisor, and I'm putting together a team for an exciting music video project for an independent country artist. We're looking for a sharp Editor to help bring our vision to life. This isn't your typical country video, it's got a unique, gritty, and reflective tone, exploring themes of resilience and finding light in unexpected places. Your main responsibilities will include assembling raw footage, creating a compelling narrative flow, color grading, and integrating any graphics or B-roll we provide. We'll be shooting on a Red Komodo, so familiarity with that workflow is a plus. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of editing experience, particularly with music videos or narrative shorts. Please include a link to your reel showcasing your best work. This is a volunteer position, but we'll definitely keep you fed on our editing days and make sure you get a copy for your portfolio. While shoot dates are still being finalized, we anticipate a quick turnaround, with editing likely starting in late May or early June. Expect a few concentrated days of work, probably 10-12 hour days during crunch time. We'll be working out of a home studio space here in Nashville. Looking forward to seeing your work!
