Post-Production for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm an animator putting together a team for an exciting new music video project. We're looking for a seasoned editor who can bring a fresh, dynamic feel to an independent project. The music is indie pop, with a really vibrant, slightly surreal aesthetic we're aiming for. Think sharp cuts, creative transitions, and an overall polished look that really pops. You'll be responsible for all post-production editing, assembling footage, color correction, and working closely with the director to achieve the final vision. We're also looking for someone who can handle basic motion graphics or titles if needed. Experience with music video editing, especially for indie artists, is a must, and we'd love to see a strong reel demonstrating your eye for rhythm and narrative flow. This is a full-time commitment for approximately 3-4 weeks, starting late July / early August (dates are somewhat flexible). We'll be providing all source footage, music tracks, and a comfortable editing suite in Chicago. We expect someone to use their own editing software and hardware.
