Production for Documentary

Documentary Production Berlin, DE entry Budget: $500-800/day

Hey everyone, Annika here. We're looking for a dedicated Production Assistant for an upcoming independent documentary project based in Berlin. This film explores the underground music scene here, focusing on its history and cultural impact. It's a gritty, intimate look at the artists and venues shaping the city's sound. We need someone who is eager to learn and can help keep our shoots running smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with set-up and breakdown, managing equipment, running errands, coordinating logistics, and generally being an invaluable support to the production team. You'll gain hands-on experience across various aspects of documentary filmmaking. We're looking for someone with an entry-level amount of experience, and a strong work ethic. You don't need your own gear for this role. What's most important is reliability, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach. Please include a short introduction about yourself and why you're interested in this project, plus any relevant experience you have (even if it's just student film work). Shoot dates are approximate, but we anticipate 5-7 days of filming spread over a few weeks in May and June. Hours will vary but expect full (8-10 hour) days on set. We'll provide transportation to locations if needed and meals during shoot days. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door on a compelling film.
