Editing for Web Series

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Editor for an exciting new horror-comedy web series. This project follows a group of paranormal investigators blundering their way through haunted Brooklyn, blending genuine scares with laugh-out-loud moments. We need someone who can expertly balance these tones, crafting episodes that are both genuinely creepy and hilariously awkward. You'll be responsible for all post-production editing, from assembly to final cut, working closely with the director to shape the narrative and comedic timing. We're seeking an editor with extensive experience in serialized content, a strong sense of comedic rhythm, and a demonstrated ability to create tension. Please submit your reel, highlighting any relevant experience with horror or comedy. You’ll need to provide your own editing suite and software. This is an independent production, and we anticipate approximately 4-6 weeks of work, starting early next month, full-time hours. Compensation is $500-800 per day, dependent on experience.
