Editor for Commercial Project (Volunteer)
Hey everyone, Mateo here (Color Timer by trade) looking for a passionate entry-level editor for an upcoming independent production. We're shooting a commercial, a short, visually driven piece for a local cafe, think cozy, inviting, and slightly quirky. We've got some great footage already, mostly B-roll and some close-ups of delicious food and coffee. Your main responsibility will be assembling the raw footage into a compelling 30-second spot, incorporating graphic overlays, and working with us on music selection. Ideally, you’ll have your own editing suite, preferably using Adobe Premiere Pro, and a basic understanding of video editing principles. While this is a volunteer gig, it's a fantastic opportunity to get real-world commercial editing experience and build your reel. We're aiming to shoot the remaining pick-ups within the next two weeks, so a quick turnaround on the edit would be great. Expect around 15-20 hours of work over a couple of weeks, flexible around your schedule. We can provide all source files and a clear brief. Show us what you've got.
