1st AC, Commercial, Mexico City

We're looking for a skilled 1st AC to join an independent production shooting a commercial in Mexico City. This project is a visually dynamic spot for a tech client, aiming for a modern, sleek aesthetic. Think clean lines, precise focus, and compelling product shots. As 1st AC, you'll be crucial in maintaining the highest quality image capture. Your responsibilities will include meticulous camera setup, precise focus pulling, lens changes, and general camera department organization. We need someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and excellent under pressure. You should have a proven track record as a senior 1st AC on commercial sets, ideally with experience working with various high-end cinema cameras and lenses. Please have your own follow focus system and access to a comprehensive lens cleaning kit. A strong reel showcasing your focus pulling expertise is essential. Shoot dates are tentatively set for August 12-15 (4 days total), with approximate 10-hour days. Production will handle local transportation within Mexico City and provide all meals on set. We're offering a rate of $150-300 USD per day, depending on experience.
