Entry-Level Web Series Screenwriter - Seoul, KR

Looking for a talented entry-level screenwriter to join our independent production for an exciting new web series. It's a dark comedy, kind of a quirky slice-of-life meets existential dread, set in contemporary Seoul. Think 'Fleabag' with a Korean twist. We're developing something fresh and unique, and need a strong voice to help bring it to life. Your primary responsibility will be collaborating on episode outlines, character development, and writing dialogue. We'll be working in a small, tight-knit team, so being a good communicator and open to feedback is key. You'll need to submit a writing sample, ideally a short script or a significant scene from a longer work, that showcases your voice and storytelling ability. Experience with web series specifically isn't required, but an understanding of episodic structure would be a huge plus. This is a paid position, $250 per day flat rate. We anticipate around 10-15 writing days spread over the next couple of months, with flexible hours. We'll be working remotely for most of the writing phase, with occasional in-person meetings in Seoul. We'll provide all necessary software and resources.
