Corporate Video Screenwriter (Remote OK)

Hey everyone, I'm a gaffer on an upcoming independent production and we're on the hunt for a talented screenwriter to help us craft a compelling corporate video. This project is for a local startup, focusing on their innovative tech solution for sustainable agriculture. We're aiming for a fresh, engaging, and slightly documentary-style tone, moving away from typical corporate blandness. Think informative but also a bit inspiring, showcasing real-world impact. We need someone who can translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive narratives. Your key responsibility will be developing a script that balances technical information with a strong human element. This includes outlining, scene descriptions, and dialogue where necessary. Experience isn't as critical as a good understanding of storytelling and the ability to adapt to a corporate, yet creative, brief. While a reel isn't strictly necessary, any previous writing samples (even non-film related) would be a plus. This is a volunteer position, but we'll ensure you get full credit for your work and provide meals if you're on set with us for any reason. We're flexible with the writing timeline, aiming to have a solid draft within the next few weeks. The shoot dates are approximate at this point, but will likely be late April/early May.
