Art Coordinator, Feature Film (Mid-Level)

Hey LA Art Department folks, I'm Garrett Stone, a Prop Master on an exciting upcoming independent feature film, and we're looking for a skilled Art Coordinator to join our team. This is a dramatic thriller with a strong psychological edge, set primarily in a unique, isolated location. Think atmospheric and detailed world-building, where the environment truly plays a character. We need someone who can keep our department running like a well-oiled machine. You'll be assisting the Production Designer and Art Director with logistics, scheduling, budget tracking, procuring materials, and managing communication between various departments. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in film art departments, preferably at the coordinator level, and a strong understanding of the production pipeline. Experience with purchase orders and petty cash management is a must. A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills are critical. Expected shoot dates are approximately six weeks, starting in early August, with prep beforehand. Long days are typical on an indie feature, but we aim for a positive and collaborative environment.
