Associate Producer, Documentary Feature

We're an independent production, currently deep into post-production on an ambitious documentary feature exploring the underground art scene of 1980s New York. It's a visually rich story, full of untold narratives and incredible archival footage. We're looking for an enthusiastic Associate Producer to join our small team and help us push this project across the finish line. Your primary responsibilities will involve coordinating post-production workflows, managing deliverables, assisting with archival clearances, and supporting our editor and director. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in documentary finishing, and you’ll be a key part of our small, dedicated crew. While specific experience in documentary isn't strictly necessary, a strong organizational mind and a proactive attitude are essential. You should be familiar with post-production pipelines and comfortable with administrative tasks. We anticipate needing someone for approximately 4-6 weeks, with potential for extension, starting in late September. We're offering a daily rate of $300-$500, commensurate with experience.
