B Cam/Steadicam Op, Indie Feature, LA

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a skilled B Cam and/or Steadicam Operator for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Los Angeles. This is an intense, character-driven drama with a gritty, naturalistic visual style think something like 'Good Time' or 'Uncut Gems'. We're aiming for a very dynamic, immersive feel, and your work on B Cam, especially if you have serious Steadicam experience, will be crucial in achieving that. We're a tight-knit crew, passionate about this story, and looking for someone who can contribute creatively while also Hitting their marks technically. Your main responsibilities will involve operating the B camera, executing precise shots alongside our A Cam, and potentially operating Steadicam for specific sequences if you're proficient. We're open to various experience levels, from talented newcomers eager to prove themselves to seasoned pros. Please send over your reel, especially if it showcases strong operating skills or Steadicam work. We're providing a full camera package (Alexa Mini LF) and support equipment. Shoot dates are tentatively late August through September, likely a 5-day week, 10-12 hour days. We understand the grind, so we're committed to fair compensation and a respectful set.
