1st AC (First Assistant Camera) - Pilot

Hey all, Rosa here (your friendly neighborhood craft service!), spreading the word for an independent production looking for a First Assistant Camera for an upcoming pilot. This is a dramatic thriller, think psychological suspense with a visually rich, grounded aesthetic. It's a really interesting script, lots of opportunities for some cool, moody shots. We're aiming for a tight, cinematic look. You'll be responsible for maintaining sharp focus, pulling focus efficiently, and helping with camera assembly and breakdown. Experience with various camera systems is a plus, but if you're a quick learner with a solid understanding of lenses and camera mechanics, we're open to all experience levels. Please have your own focus-pulling tools and essential accessories, though camera package will be provided. A strong reel showcasing your focus-pulling skills is definitely a bonus, but not strictly required if you can demonstrate your abilities. Shoot dates are approximately late April/early May, aiming for about 3-4 intensive days. Hours will be typical production hours, likely 10-12s. We'll be providing meals and a great atmosphere, plus a chance to work on a promising project with a passionate crew. This is a deferred compensation project, points plus deferred payment once the pilot is sold. Looking forward to hearing from you!
