DP, Energetic Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I’m putting out feelers for a talented DP to join us on an upcoming independent music video shoot here in NYC. We're working with an exciting new artist on a high-energy pop track that has some cool visual ideas we want to bring to life. Think vibrant colors, dynamic movement, and a bit of a surreal touch. This isn't your average indie shoot, we're aiming for something memorable. As our Director of Photography, you'll be responsible for bringing this vision to the screen, collaborating closely with the director to craft the visual aesthetic. You'll oversee all camera and lighting aspects, ensuring we achieve a polished, professional look. We're looking for someone with solid experience shooting music videos or similar fast-paced narrative content, someone who can think on their feet and isn't afraid to get creative with limited resources. You should have your own camera package (preferably something capable of high frame rates and strong low-light performance), a basic lighting kit, and relevant grip equipment. Please include a link to your reel highlighting your best cinematography work, especially music videos or narrative shorts. Shoot dates are currently TBD, but we're targeting 2-3 days sometime in early to mid-July. Expect full days, likely 10-12 hours. We'll be providing all craft services, a positive work environment, and a competitive day rate of $300-500, depending on experience and gear contribution. Let's make something awesome together!
