Entry-Level Production Designer, Music Video, SYD

Hey everyone, Isla here. I'm a Costume Designer working on a super cool, high-energy music video for an indie artist, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Production Designer to join our small, passionate crew in Sydney. It’s a vibrant, colorful pop track with a surreal, slightly whimsical aesthetic - think early 2000s music videos mixed with some contemporary art installation vibes. We're aiming for something visually striking and fun! You'll be responsible for bringing our creative vision to life, working closely with the director and myself to develop concepts, source props, dress sets, and manage the overall aesthetic of the shoot. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get their first substantial Production Design credit on an independent production. While no professional experience is required, a keen eye for detail, a creative spirit, and a portfolio or examples of your design work (even if it's personal projects or art pieces) are essential. Shoot dates are tentatively planned for late June/early July, over 2-3 full days. We're a tight-knit team, so expect a collaborative, hands-on environment. Lunch and snacks will be provided on set, and you'll get great footage for your reel. This is a passion project, so unfortunately, compensation is on a volunteer basis.
