Camera Assistant, Corporate Video (Entry Level)
Hello fellow filmmakers! I'm Sofia, a location scout, and I'm assisting an independent production team based in Albuquerque with an upcoming corporate video project. We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Camera Assistant to join our crew. This isn't your typical dry corporate video; we aim for a visually engaging, somewhat stylized approach to tell a compelling brand story. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and gain hands-on experience on a professional set. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Cinematographer with equipment setup and breakdown, lens changes, battery management, media management, and maintaining the camera department's gear. You'll be a vital part of ensuring everything runs smoothly on set. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and has a positive attitude. While entry-level, some basic understanding of camera equipment and on-set etiquette is a plus. Please have your own reliable transportation. Prior experience as a PA with an interest in camera is also welcome. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late March, early April, and will span about 3-5 days of shooting, generally 8-10 hour days. We'll provide craft services and meals during production. Compensation is TBD, depending on experience. Please send a brief note about your interest, any relevant experience (even if it's just personal projects), and a link to your reel if you have one. We look forward to hearing from you!
