Cinematography for Music Video

Sydney, AU shoot, mid-July for 2-3 days, for an independent music video project. We're looking for a skilled Gaffer to bring their expertise to a vibrant, high-energy pop/R&B music video. This project is visually driven, featuring dynamic lighting setups to create a sleek, modern aesthetic with some surreal elements. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with the DP on lighting plans, managing the lighting crew, ensuring all electrical equipment is safe and properly rigged, and executing creative lighting setups to achieve the desired mood and look. We need someone who can work efficiently under tight schedules and adapt quickly. You'll need to have access to your own basic lighting kit (although specialized equipment can be rented if necessary), demonstrate strong experience gaffing similar music video or commercial productions, and provide a compelling reel showcasing your work. Compensation will be discussed based on experience. Meals and some transportation assistance will be provided on set. We're looking for someone with a passion for visually impactful storytelling.
