Cinematography for Short Film

Seeking a talented 1st AC for an upcoming 3-day short film shoot, offering $200-400 per day. Our project is a thought-provoking sci-fi drama with a visually ambitious script, exploring themes of artificial intelligence and human connection. We need someone who can help us achieve a polished, cinematic look on an independent budget. Your main responsibilities will include pulling focus, maintaining camera equipment, and assisting the DP with lens changes and setup. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience as a 1st AC on narrative projects, a strong understanding of various camera systems (including RED/ARRI), and a commitment to precision. Please have your own follow focus system and basic camera toolkit. A link to your reel (or a list of projects you've worked on) is essential. Shoot dates are tentatively set for August 9-11 in San Francisco, with 10-12 hour days planned. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set. This is a great opportunity to collaborate on an exciting story with a dedicated crew.
