Senior DP for Toronto Commercial

A dynamic commercial spot for a tech startup, full of clean, modern visuals and a fast-paced tone, is seeking a seasoned Director of Photography. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for commercial aesthetics and a knack for creating polished, high-energy imagery that pops. You'll be responsible for lighting, camera operation, and working closely with the director to realize their vision. This DP will lead the camera and lighting team, making key creative and technical decisions on set. We need someone who can hit the ground running with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit. Please provide a link to your commercial reel demonstrating your experience with similar projects. Own gear (camera, lenses, lighting package) for a commercial shoot strongly preferred, but we can discuss rentals for specific needs. Shoot dates are approximate, targeting late May/early June for 3-4 days of shooting in and around Toronto. Expect 10-12 hour days. Crafty and crew meals will be provided on set. This is an independent production with a small, dedicated team and the potential for a really stylish final product.
