Camera Operator, Mid-Level (Commercial)

Shooting in Los Angeles, California from approximately June 24-28, this independent commercial project needs a talented mid-level Camera Operator. We're crafting a visually striking, fast-paced ad for a cutting-edge tech startup, highlighting their innovative product with dynamic and sleek visuals. It's a great chance to build your commercial reel with some high-energy content and experiment with practical effects. Your primary role will involve operating the camera, executing a variety of shots from handheld to dolly moves, and collaborating closely with the DP and Gaffer to achieve the desired aesthetic. We need someone who can work efficiently on set, adapt to changes, and bring creative solutions to visual challenges. Candidates should have their own camera package (preferably a Blackmagic Pocket or similar, with a basic lens kit) and previous experience on commercial sets. A strong reel showcasing your camera operating skills in a commercial context is essential. We anticipate 10-12 hour shoot days. While this is a volunteer, passion project, we'll provide meals and snacks on set, and ensure a positive, collaborative environment. Come join a dedicated team and help us make something awesome!
