A coming-of-age story set in a dystopian Chicago, our upcoming web series explores themes of rebellion and hope through a gritty, handheld aesthetic. We're seeking a seasoned Director of Photography to lead our camera department. You'll be responsible for crafting the visual language of the series, collaborating closely with the director, and overseeing camera operations on set. This includes shot composition, lighting design, and managing our camera crew. We're looking for someone with extensive experience on independent narrative productions, a strong creative vision, and a reel that demonstrates dynamic storytelling. You should be familiar with a variety of camera systems (RED or ARRI preferred) and have your own basic camera package. Shoot dates are approximately 15 days across September and October, expect 10-12 hour days. A small production company will provide lighting and grip packages, and all essential production insurance. Daily rate is $300-500, commensurate with experience.
