Camera Operator, Web Series

Web Series Camera Los Angeles, CA mid Budget: $300-500/day

Hey filmmakers! We're shooting a dark comedy web series, think 'Fargo' meets 'The Office' in terms of tone. It’s a really fun script with some unique characters, focusing on the absurdities of life in a small town. We're looking for a skilled Camera Operator to join our team for this independent production. You'll be responsible for operating our main camera, working closely with the DP to execute their vision and ensure high-quality, cinematic shots. This includes setting up, framing, and executing moves. You’ll also need to manage camera equipment on set, ensuring everything is in good working order. We need someone with at least 3-5 years of experience operating cameras on narrative projects, and you must have your own camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket, Sony FX3, A7SIII or similar, with lenses, tripod, and support). A strong reel showcasing your operating skills is essential. Shoot dates are approximately 5-7 days spread over late July/early August, mostly 10-hour days. We're providing meals, craft services, and a great crew environment. Compensation is $300-500/day, depending on experience and gear. We're aiming for a strong aesthetic, so creativity and a collaborative spirit are a huge plus. Please send your reel and a brief list of your primary camera package.
