Cinematographer for Neo-Noir Short

Hey everyone, Alex here (2nd AC on a few indie projects), looking for a skilled Cinematographer to join our independent production. We're shooting a gritty, character-driven neo-noir short, a story about redemption and inescapable pasts. Think a modern take on classic film noir, with a moody, high-contrast visual style. This isn't just about pretty pictures, we need someone who can translate complex emotions into powerful cinematography. Your core responsibilities will be collaborating closely with the director on visual storytelling, overseeing camera and lighting, and leading our small but dedicated camera team. Experience with low-light shooting and creating atmospheric suspense is a must. Please have your own camera package, ideally an Alexa Mini or comparable cinema camera, plus a solid lighting kit. A strong reel showcasing your narrative work is essential. We're aiming to shoot for 3-4 days, likely mid-late August, with 10-12 hour days. Deferred pay for this one, but meals, on-set drinks, and good vibes are absolutely provided. We're a passionate crew, eager to make something special. Let's make some awesome art!
