Cinematography for Feature Film

Seeking an experienced 1st AC for an independent feature film shooting in Nashville, TN. This project is a character-driven drama with thriller elements, aiming for a grounded, intimate, and visually striking tone. We're looking for someone who can collaborate closely with our DP to maintain visual consistency and execute complex shots while managing the camera department efficiently. This is a paid position, offering $1000-1500 per day for approximately 25-30 shooting days, plus some prep time. The shoot is scheduled for late October or early November 2026. Your key responsibilities will include pulling sharp focus, managing camera setup and breakdown, troubleshooting, and overseeing lens and filter changes. You'll also be responsible for maintaining camera equipment logs. We expect candidates to bring their own follow focus system, monitors, and essential tools.
