Cinematography for Music Video

Hey DPs, I'm Hannah, an Art Director on an exciting independent production, and we're looking for a talented Cinematographer to join our team for an upcoming music video project. This isn't your typical pop video, we're creating something visually striking and emotionally resonant, blending surrealism with intimate, character-driven moments for an indie artist. We're aiming for a strong, art-house aesthetic so creativity and a thoughtful eye are key. You'll be responsible for bringing our visual concept to life, collaborating closely with me and the director. This includes lighting design, shot composition, and guiding the camera crew. We need someone with a mid-level of experience who can bring their own camera package (e.g., Arri Mini LF, Red Komodo or similar plus essential lenses) and basic lighting kit. Please share your reel so we can see your work, especially anything with a unique visual style. Shoot dates are approximate May 20-22 in Los Angeles, though there might be some flexibility. We expect 10-12 hour days. We'll provide craft services, catering, and a comfortable working environment. Compensation is $1000-1500 per day, depending on experience and gear package.
