Cinematography for Music Video

Shooting a vibrant, high-energy music video in Mumbai in the first half of November 2026, we're seeking a skilled Gaffer to join our independent production. This project is for a well-known Indian pop artist, featuring dynamic choreography and a mix of studio and practical locations, demanding creative lighting solutions to enhance the energetic visual style. We're looking for someone who can translate artistic vision into compelling lighting setups. You'll be responsible for leading the lighting team, collaborating closely with the cinematographer to achieve desired looks, managing equipment, and ensuring safety on set. We need someone with substantial experience gaffing music videos or similarly fast-paced commercial projects, a strong understanding of various lighting fixtures and power distribution, and a proven ability to work efficiently under pressure. Please provide a link to your reel showcasing relevant work. This will be a demanding but rewarding 1-2 day shoot, with a prep day included, offering 10-12 hour days. All necessary lighting and grip equipment will be provided. Compensation is $1000-1500 per day, based on experience. We're reviewing applications until November 1, 2026.
